The Leadership Team

Who We Are

Board Members

This is our 2026 Families Helping Families Board.
Serving to advance its mission helping families in need.

Quincy Collins

Founder & CEO

I grew up on the south side of Houston in a loving family and attended Houston Christian University, where I studied Music Performance and Business Finance. During my time at HCU, a mentor profoundly shaped my spiritual and personal growth, and I also met my wife. After graduating in 2005, I began my career in telecommunications while raising our two children, Quincy II and Sydney.

One of my most meaningful childhood memories was serving the homeless alongside my grandparents in downtown Houston. Watching them give so selflessly taught me the importance of serving others.

That lesson came full circle in 2013 when a church member lost everything in a house fire. Friends and I collected clothing, household items, groceries, and nearly $800 in donations to help the family rebuild. That experience inspired me to found Families Helping Families Houston.

Today, Families Helping Families has grown beyond anything I imagined, and I am grateful to the volunteers, sponsors, and community partners who continue to make this mission possible each year.
